Q:
Can we Motorhome in
comfort in the winter?
A: Yes, ask
about our Four Season Motorhomes built for the northern climate.
Q: Do you
allow pets?
A: We do
allow pets, today’s travellers consider their pet a part of the
family, would you lock the kids in a kennel while you are away?
Q: What sort
of items will I need to pack?
A: Refer to
our travel and information links page for a common list of items you
may need to consider. Remember, the more you take, the more you have
to unload on your return.
Most
newcomers to RVing tend to take far too much on the first trip. They
are much wiser on the second.
Q: How far
should we plan to travel on our holiday?
A: There is
no hard fast rule for this. The object is to enjoy your holiday
relaxing and sight seeing. Decide on what length of time you have
available for your vacation and pick an end destination that allows
short hops to different places from the time you leave until you
return safely and rested home.
Q: What
aids are available to help plan our tip?
A: Our staff
can offer some pointers for this. On our forms page, you will find
many helpful links to the provinces and all they have to offer. Also
see our packages page for Tour Ontario Promotion.
Q: What sort
of fuel consumption should we consider?
A: Again
there is no hard fast rule that applies here. The variables are
considerable. Suffice it to say the ability to minimize fuel use lies
solely in your hands. Don’t overload the Motorhome. Travel with
minimal contents in the fresh water tank. Empty waste tanks
regularly. Most important of all is how you control your speed and
acceleration. Less and gentle are the key.
Q: How
many can travel in a Motorhome?
A: This is
governed under provincial law. There must be appropriate seat belt
for each passenger traveling. We will tell you how many belts are on
the unit you choose. Depending
on the layout 6 or 8.
Q: How many
can sleep in a Motorhome?
A: The
number of people that can sleep in a Motorhome varies greatly. This
is generally determined by the size of the RV and layout. You can see
the different layouts and accommodation on our layouts page.
Q: Do you own the Motor Homes?
A:
Our fleet of Motor Homes are owned by
private individuals. We offer a Motor home Management Program.
See Own
to Rent, Rent to Own.
Because they are owned by private individuals, they generally have
nicer appointments and options than those built specific for rental
fleets.
Q: Are there any issues with taking your Motor Homes
across the border to the United States?
A:
Our Motor
Homes travel between the USA and Canada all year long. There are no
issues as long as the terms of our agreement or the laws concerning
this travel are not violated.
Q: Are bike racks etc. available?
A: Yes, we
have a variety of items and packages available to enhance your trip.
Ask our friendly staff.
Q: Can I tow a vehicle or trailer?
A: No towing what so ever is allowed. The
receiver on the back of the Motor Home is for bike racks only.
